7 Predictions For The 2015 NBA Finals

6. The Warriors' Supporting Cast Will Overpower Cleveland's

The most glaring advantage the Warriors have over the Cavaliers is the fact that, despite LeBron James instantly transforming any roster he lands upon into title contenders, they have quality in all areas of the court. Steph Curry may be the crowning jewel, but he has a formidable backcourt partner in Klay Thompson, a hulking pair of inside targets in the form of Andrew Bogut and Draymond Green, and the freakish athleticism of Andre Iguodala off the bench. It's a cliche to suggest that a particular sporting contest represents "a collection of individuals vs a team", but it also happens to be pretty true in this instance. The narrative of Cleveland's early season was dominated by talk of Kevin Love's inability to fit in with the rest of the squad, and now - with the big forward out of the picture - players such as Thompson, Mozgov and Smith will have to step up to a level that is perhaps beyond them.
