7 Predictions For The 2015 NBA Finals

4. LeBron James Will Shut Down Game 3 Or 4

You can pretty much guarantee that LeBron will go nuts in at least one game this series, shifting into a gear nobody else on the planet can currently touch and torching the Warriors en route to a ridiculous stat line (and the win for his Cavaliers). However, James simply can't maintain such a high level of play all the time - otherwise his team would undoubtedly win every year until his body began to severely slow down. During his first stint with the Cavs, James was plagued by accusations of choking at big moments, a criticism strengthened by damaging playoff losses to the San Antonio Spurs and Boston Celtics. This monkey looked to be off LeBron's back after his first title win with the Miami Heat in 2012, but came back to haunt him after last year's finals loss (again to those pesky Spurs). As physically imposing and freakishly talented as James is, the fact remains that his NBA finals record reads two wins from five attempts, a far worse return than fellow modern greats Kobe Bryant and Tim Duncan. Improving upon that will take an unforeseen level of consistent brilliance.
