8 Possible Opponents For Conor McGregor At UFC 200

1. Frankie Edgar

While this is the least appealing fight of the five possible fights, it's the one of the five that's most likely happening at UFC 200, and it's a fight that Frankie Edgar deserves. Edgar has won five straight fights in the featherweight division, and he's clearly the number-one contender for the division's championship. Like Jose Aldo, Frankie Edgar was offered the fight against Conor McGregor when RDA pulled out. But an injury prevented him from taking it. Edgar will more than likely be fully recovered in-time for UFC 200, and now that "The Notorious One" failed at a higher weight-class, he'll likely be returning to featherweight to defend his title. Which is good news for Edgar. Like GSP, Edgar is a fantastic wrestler. So he'll be a nightmare of a match-up for McGregor if the fight takes place. But it won't be a cake-walk for "The Answer" because Mcgregor proved that he can handle a good wrestler in the Chad Mendes fight.
