8 Reasons LeBron James Is Better Than Michael Jordan

1. He's Been To Seven NBA Finals In A Row

For seven years in a row LeBron was the best player on the best team in the Eastern Conference. In 2007 James led the Cavaliers to the first NBA Finals in team history almost all by himself, scoring the final 25 points. Jordan was in three finals in a row, then retired for one and a half season, and then appeared in another three finals. He won every time he got to the final series.

However, it took Jordan seven years to get to the last series of the season, whereas LeBron reached his first in his fourth season in the league. He was just 22 years old.

During the 1994-95 season Jordan came back from retirement, yet his Bulls lost to the Orlando Magic in the second round of the playoffs. So yes, when Jordan reached the finals, he never lost, but he failed to reach them in nine out of fifteen NBA seasons. James on the other hand reached the finals in eight of his fourteen seasons in the league.

That's quite an achievement, although staying healthy enough to be one of two-three best players on every court he's been for so long is even more impressive.
