ATP Tennis: 5 Men To Watch

Djokovic Whilst recently watching the US Open it occurred to me and Tennis enthusiast James Hayes (@Hayesyyyy) that there are a few Tennis players that we reckon are worth notable mentions, players that if their games were televised - we would both strongly recommend that you watch their games, just to see what unbelievable talents some of them are. Some are just enjoyable to watch, whilst others actually have the potential to become the greatest players ever. There are four Grand Slams each year so we recommend that if you do get a chance to watch the following players (especially on the BBC during 'Wimbledon season') that you don't throw the opportunity away too quickly.

5. Kei Nishikori

Kei Nishikori World Number 12, Kei Nishikori, is an impressive player to watch indeed. The 23-year old is known for his aggressive baseline play, especially his change of pace and neat footwork when moving around the court. Nishikori isn't the most powerful of players so relies mainly on spin for consistency whilst having no specific weaknesses to target for opponents. For the last two years, he seems to have played very well at the Wimbledon Championships, despite his best finish being in Round 3. His best finish in a Grand Slam was however, the Australian Open quarter-finals, in which he was beaten by Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
