10 Biggest Ever Boxing Matches

5. Muhammad Ali Vs. Joe Frazier III: Quezon City, October 1, 1975

The Thrilla In Manila. Arguably the most brutal fight in boxing history. It is also the most pivotal fight in boxing history as it signalled the end of what is still to this day the most storied rivalry in boxing history. Both men, older and ever so slightly slower, battled it out over 14 gruelling and sweaty rounds. In the end Frazier was kept in his corner ahead of the 15th round, while Ali didn't come out of the bout in much better shape. He famously said it was "as near to death" as he had ever felt.
