Their miracle came in the form of would-be-Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas. After substitute Theo Walcott gave Arsenal a lifeline when he scored on the hour mark, Fabregas rallied his team and won a penalty, the Spaniard stepped up sent the ball past Victor Valdes. The reason what makes this goal so iconic is that after Fabregas scored he was forced off the pitch with an injury and it was found that he took and scored the penalty with a broken leg. Arsenal held on for an unbelievable turn around and the game finished 2-2
