Fantasy Premier League Tips: 11 Cheap Players For 2019/20

7. Nathan Ake (Bournemouth) - £5 Million

Much like Lewis Dunk has been continually linked with a move away from Brighton, so too has Nathan Ake been regularly rumoured to be heading for the Bournemouth exit door.

Whether he stays with Eddie Howe’s men or seeks a move away, Ake is a fantastic cheap option for your Fantasy Football defence.

A classy centre-back who can play at left-back or in midfield, Ake is brilliant on the ball and has an immense leap to go with his 5’11” frame.

What you get with Ake is somebody who is reliable, who rarely gets injured – the Dutch international playing in all 38 of Bournemouth’s league games last season – and who is a goal threat.

For the relatively cheap price of £5 million, Nathan Ake represents a sensible and shrewd choice for your Fantasy backline.

A move to Manchester City has been mooted during this transfer window, and that could be both a blessing and a curse for Fantasy Football fans who take a punt on Ake. Obviously £5 million for a City defender is cheap, yet any such transfer would throw up questions about the player’s game time. That, though, is all ifs and maybes right now.
