Frank Lampard needs no introduction to fantasy league players - the England midfielder has been a must-buy for years, given his goalscoring exploits for Chelsea as a midfielder. His crazy points-scoring had previous meant that he was one of those elite players who cost around £10 million-£12 million but, now that he's not a guaranteed starter for Manchester City - with whom he is on loan from his new New York City club - and after a low-scoring season with Chelsea last year, his value has come down dramatically. So, at just £5.5 million, and even if he doesn't start every game for City, can you really afford not to acquire Lampard? When he plays, he's always likely to score and, even if he's only brought on for the last twenty minutes in most games, he'll still pop up with more goals and assists than the average Premier League midfielder.
