Juventus Transfers: 10 Players Who Could Replace Arturo Vidal

Allegri will be keen to replace his Chilean midfielder if that is actually possible?

With Arturo Vidal set to sign for Bayern Munich next week, Massimiliano Allegri has the daunting task of trying to find a replacement for his prize asset. The Chilean midfielder has been Juventus' best player of the past five years and is one of the finest box-to-box midfielders in world football. Allegri will be keen to maintain the momentum generated by last season's impressive Champions League run which will mean finding someone to fill the massive boots of Il Guerriero. The Bianconerireceived £26 million for their versatile midfielder and given they have also lost Andrea Pirlo who signed for New York City FC on a free transfer they will need to spend a similar fee on replacing him (something they have said they will be doing). Allegri has brought in Sami Khedira from Real Madrid on a free transfer this summer and although having the exceptionally talented Paul Pogba and Claudio Marchisio at his disposal he will be keen to bring in a more attack-minded midfielder to provide a direct link to strikers. Vidal scored 11 goals last season and grabbed 5 assists in 46 games as Juventus clinched their fourth consecutive Scudetto title. I take a look at the potential candidates who could replace the former Leverkusen midfielder and maintain Juve's challenge for European glory.
