2. Reaching Their Prime
Andy and Novak, both 26, have reached their physical peak; maintaining the athletic flexibility and movement of youth whilst possessing immense strength and stamina. When you add their years of experience, mental confidence and ever improving skill you find yourself looking at two super humans, capable of producing as good a tennis match as you will ever see. As the two highest ranked players in the world, combined with the current form both men are in, its hard to speculate about the near future of slam victors without mentioning one of the two. Djokovic especially has been in fantastic form, reaching at least the semi-final of every Grand slam since 2011. His 43 match winning streak may have ended but few would doubt the prospects of Novak reaching many of the slam finals in years to come. As for Andy, it looks as if his form is only improving. Having reached 5 finals in the last 10 slams he's entered, Murray has only just 'got the monkey off his back'. The idea that now, with two Grand slam titles under his belt, his performance is going to get even better is mouth watering. Using his new confidence and reduced pressure upon him surely Murray will go on to reach an even more impressive percentage of slam finals.
