1. Can Anybody Beat Miami?
Short answer? No. Long answer? Nooooooooooooooooooooo. This team looks unstoppable. While Oklahoma City probably regressed slightly when they traded James Harden, you can make a strong case that this years Miami outfit is better than last years. You know, last year when they won the championship. This is a team that won 27 straight games during the regular season. TWENTY SEVEN. Theyre healthy, theyre well coached, they play a quick, unselfish team game, their defence has been solid all year.....oh, and they have the best player in the world. LeBron James should win his fourth MVP award this year, and it really shouldnt be close. After the first, difficult year in Miami (where they still almost won the championship) LeBron has been unstoppable, the best two-way player in the game by a mile. Adding a post-up element to his game has made him basically unguardable, and he does it all within the flow of an offensive system designed to make the most of having three of the best players in the league on one team. Its tough to see anybody in the East stopping Miami from picking up another Conference Championship. Its hard to see Milwaukee taking a game off the Heat in the first round, come to that. The only team in the East that might give the Heat a hard time are the Pacers, and the last time they played Miami destroyed them. If, as expected, the finals are a replay of last years Heat/Thunder series, I just cant see Oklahoma wining four out of seven. Miami look too strong in every area. Barring something drastic happening (LeBron gets kidnapped, LeBron sleeps in and misses the game, Lebron retires, etc) its really, really hard to see anybody beating this team. But then, thats why they play the games. Which other questions do you think this year's playoffs will answer? And do you think our answers above are right? Share your thoughts below.
