NFL Draft: 5 Most Eye-Catching Prospects

1. OLB/DE Dion Jordan Oregon

Dion Jordan is simply a freakish athlete. He's name wasnt' thrown around too much before the combine. However, he made is name be known with the performance he had. He measured in at 6'6. 240 lbs and ran an official 40 time of 4.60. He is extremely fast and has a long frame to work with. He even played a lot of man coverage in college against wide receivers and slot receivers. He has unbelievable coverage skill for a man that size and possess fluid hips when transitioning. When looking at Dion Jordan you see all you want from a OLB at the next level, but when you look at what he did on paper it doesn't reflect what he did at the combine. He only had 5 sacks his senior year and really never made a big splash in the PAC-12. Obviously stats aren't everything, but you have to wonder why he didn't get to the quarterback as much as he did when he possess all the tools to do so. If Jordan can go to the right team that utilizes him well, he could be a Pro Bowl player. If not he'll just be a rotational player in the NFL.
