No, Larry Fitzgerald is not the man he once was. Father time is undefeated. However, reports of Fitzgeralds demise have been greatly exaggerated. Statistically, Fitzgerald had one of his worst years last season, posting a career low in yards and touchdowns. What people forget is that QB Carson Palmer was injured for the second half of the year, and with the rotating cast of characters at QB for the Cardinals (Ryan Lindley, Drew Stanton, Logan Thomas), it would be impossible for anybody to get into that kind of a rhythm. If Palmer stays healthy, expect a bounce-back for Fitzgerald. Also, news just came out that WR1 Michael Floyd is out for a month, so Fitzgerald gets a big bump. A common myth in fantasy football is that youd rather want to jump off a players bandwagon a year too early than a year too late. That may be true for early-round players, but Fitzgerald is going so late in drafts that hes worth taking a chance on. In his prime, he was one of the best WRs in the game. If he can give you a little more than half of that production at his draft price, its an absolute steal. Think Antonio Gates last season.
