Leicester fell agonisingly short of the Champions league places but it should be acknowledged they still had a fantastic season. It is a talented and exciting team that Brendan Rodgers is building, but some shortcomings were unearthed in their drop-off after the restart. They were sadly shorn of creativity with the injury to James Madison, and when Jamie Vardy doesn't score the team tends to struggle to make up those goals.

A winger with both a creative flair and an eye for goal could take the burden off both men and Florian Thauvin is exactly that. The Frenchman was criminally underappreciated in his brief spell at Newcastle but since then the Marseille winger has been lighting up Ligue 1.

He provides goals, assists and is a constant nuisance for defenders to deal with. Harvey Barnes is an undoubted talent and Ayoze Perez is a good player but neither currently provide the X-factor that Florian Thauvin is capable of on a regular basis.
