Premier League 2012/13 Season Predictions - 20th - 11th

The Premier League kicks off on Saturday with fans all over the world tuning in to see if their team can get the start they need to see off relegation, battle for European places or get their hands on the League title.

Well it's that time of year again and for the football fans out there it couldn't come quick enough. Seeing Andy Murray make the Wimbledon final and then witnessing the Olympic extravaganza in London was a nice distraction but that's all it was. Something to help the football withdrawal symptoms we were all going through. This summer had some nice filling but it was just a prelude to the main event. Now that we have the curtain raising Community Shield and the ridiculously timed International friendlies out of the way it is clear sailing to the start of the Premier League campaign. It's time to get the scarf's out of the closet. Time to proudly wear the money spinning new strip with the name of your clubs marquee new signing on it. Time to put Match Of The Day back on the Sky+ despite Mark Lawrenson. 20. Norwich

Paul Lambert managed to get the most out of a group of players from the lower leagues and get them to a magnificent 12th place finish last season. With Lambert gone and what is still largely the squad that just a few years ago was playing in League 1 Chris Hughton has a massive task on his hands. Convincing Grant Holt to stay was a massive feather in his cap and he has made shrewd signings in Steven Whittaker and Robert Snodgrass but I just don't think it will be enough. Norwich were tipped for relegation last year and they proved everybody by staying out of the relegation battle but I just don't see that happening this time out. Second Season Syndrome or Sophomore Slump, call it what you want, Norwich fans will be in for a long season if they get off to a poor start. First Three Games: Fulham (A), QPR (H), Tottenham (A)
