The Frenchman has been at the forefront of Lyon's resurgence as a true Ligue 1 force, pushing PSG for the title until the very end of the season, with Hubert Fournier's side just missing out, finishing second. Lacazette scored an astonishing 27 goals in just 31 games,
linking him with many of the Premier League's top clubs, Liverpool and Arsenal in particular. It would be a shrewd bit of business if Lyon were able to keep hold of him, but with Euro 2016 taking place in France next summer, the 24-year-old is going to want to show his skills on a bigger stage than Ligue 1, and there would be plenty of takers across the channel for him.
