17. Liverpool
Like Chelsea, Liverpool's 2015/16 kit seems inoffensive enough at first glance. The gold badge of last season has reverted back to a more traditional white, bringing the iconic liver bird in line with the rest of the shirt's minor details. Unfortunately, those subtle checks are an absolute no-go, especially as they contrast so untidily with the plain sleeves. The thin white bands around the collar are a drawback too; they seem a rather pointless addition, as does the strange darker v just below the neckline. Ultimately the Reds have somehow wound up with a kit that seems too boring from a distance, and too complex close up.
