It says a lot about the other kits yet to come that this black and blue edition away shirt ranks so low down. It's not a bad shirt at all, with navy and blue stripes but it just could've been a bit more exciting. It was neither supremely clean and polished, nor was it daring or radically different. It was 'just another away kit' back at the time, and won't be particularly remembered with a great deal of fondness.
