Rugby League: 5 Reasons You Should Be Watching

3. Attacking Rugby

Rugby League This may seem like another pop at Rugby Union, but League has a lot more attacking rugby than the 15-a-side code. In the entire history of Super League, there has been one try-less game, a 5-2 Salford victory over Harlequins in 2007. Compare this to the same time-span in Union, and there have been so many that it must be impossible to count. This is not the only reason, however - Rugby League serves up a number of long range tries every year, and a particular match-winning try for Catalans against St Helens last year showed us that a try needn€™t be long range to include a wide range of attacking play. The below video shows range of great attacking play from 2012. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF5z1qT9v-w
