6. Owen Farrell
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1QmfMloNNc Farrell missed the final test in New Zealand, and England suffered as a result. Freddie Burns, his replacement, is more than capable with the boot and just as confident, but his defensive weaknesses were exposed, and the All Blacks ran riot. Farrell's temperament and game management are the main reasons the coaches stick with him- his defence is solid and his attacking intent is improving. Burns added to the calls for him to occupy the fly half position in the first test, but silenced them in the third. Danny Cipriani, with more game time could certainly come onto the bench, but will not replace the incumbent Farrell, who seems firmly placed to retain his shirt for the foreseeable future.
