Sunderland Transfer News: Danny Graham To Join Black Cats?

Sunderland to sign Danny Graham from Swansea as soon as Kenwyne Jones' future is cleared up.

Daily Mail. Black Cats manager Martin O'Neill is convinced Graham would be preparing for his debut at the Stadium of Light by now if it wasn't for Swansea and Stoke failing to come to terms over a deal for Jones, and Premier League rivals QPR, Norwich, Reading and Aston Villa have now all entered the battle to secure the striker's signature. But Sunderland are still confident of seeing off the competition by landing the player, but only after Swansea have sought a replacement for him. Stoke have so far rejected Swansea's attempts to sign Kenwyne Jones on loan with the option of signing the Trinidadian on a permanent deal at a later date, and are now waiting for the Swans to come back with an offer that matches their valuations. But as soon as Swansea have sealed a replacement for Graham, his move to Sunderland can finally be rubber stamped and will be worth around £4 million, according to reports.
