Sunderland's Worst XI Of The 21st Century

5. Titus Bramble

An ex-Magpie with over 100 Newcastle appearances to his name, Titus Bramble was never going to be the most immediately popular figure at the Stadium of Light. He did his error-prone image no favours either, continuing to allow characteristic lapses of judgement into his game. Moving from Wigan alongside manager Steve Bruce, Bramble benefitted from a talented squad of teammates, including Jordan Henderson, Darren Bent and Stephane Sessegnon. His flaws were exposed during the catastrophic 5-1 derby loss (in which he was also sent off), and his reputation never truly recovered in the eyes of the fans. Where Is He Now: After being released by Sunderland in 2013, he trained with both West Ham and Ipswich - but was signed by neither club.
