SuperBowl 2014: 6 Things To Watch Out For

3. The Cold Weather Story Isn't A Big Factor

This Super Bowl is playing played in New Jersey (right by New York City, really) and it's a rare Super Bowl that is going to be in the cold weather. The reports state as of now that won't be that cold there. There likely won't be any snow and the game time temperatures will be around 4 Celsius, so the players should be comfortable. If it was -10 Celsius that could really affect the game, but they lucked out and the temperature should be very manageable. I felt like the weather story was overrated anyway. Both of these teams are used to playing in cold weather and dealt with it all year long. It's football. They know how to handle it whether it's a factor or not. It's a good thing that it's not, though.
