The appeal of Champions League is unlike anything in football. Many clubs desperately vie to lift the big ol' ears, while some players yearn to just play a part in it. It's the holy grail of the beautiful game.

Even though domestic action constitute most of our consumption, it's the Champions League that we so eagerly look forward to. And in normal circumstances, we would have been watching the quarter-finals unfold right now.
