UFC: 10 Reasons Ronda Rousey Is A Victim Of Her Own Success

4. She Rarely Leaves The First Round... But Not For Lack Of Competition

John Locher/AP/Press Association ImagesJohn Locher/AP/Press Association ImagesAlexis Davis is a good fighter. Sara McMann is a good fighter. These aren't chumps Ronda Rousey is beating. They're far from cans. She's just that good, and as a result, she finishes fights fast. In her entire MMA career, Rousey has left the first round exactly once. Once, in ten fights, all of which she won. The only girl to take her past the first round was Miesha Tate, and that was on her second try. Tate took her all the way to the third - and then wound up arm-barred. Again. Ouch. Miesha is a former champ however. Sara McMann a former Olympian. Julia Budd was a WMMA pioneer. Sarah Kaufman was a former champ as well. Solid fighters. However, Rousey's judo is incredible. No one seems to be training for the judo toss the way they train to stuff takedowns, and it shows. She's able to get fighters to the mat quick, which means, again - she's finishing damn quick.
