1. Chris Weidman
John Locher/AP/Press Association ImagesWeidman got a win over a top contender that can't be considered a fluke, and we can all lay off him a little, right? Well, more or less. Machida came on strong at the end, and Weidman seemed to fade a little, in his first visit to the championship rounds. Weidman is a big 185'er, to the point that he looked to be the bigger man against "The Dragon" - who has spent most of his career at 205. So there are still questions, but they're muted at least for a little bit. In the meantime, next up should be Vitor Belfort - but his status, due to a failed drug test, is a total question mark. Failing that, it could be Jacare, or Luke Rockhold. We probably won't know for sure until Belfort clears things up with the NSAC.
