USPGA Championship 2013: 5 Favourites & 5 Outsiders

3. Adam Scott

adam scott golf In his youth Adam Scott was dubbed the nearly man, so close to fulfilling the potential he had. Focus on his near identical swing to that of Tiger Woods did nothing to help the matter and thus Scott was left unable to deliver when it mattered. Despite his mental collapse at the 2012 British Open, bogeying the last 4 holes to lose, he came back tougher and more ready for the fight, ultimately winning The Masters. Like Justin Rose, the pressure is well and truly off Scott now and after a very impressive display at Muirfield, a course that shouldn€™t have suited his style of golf, he is certainly in the hunt this week.
