West Brom 3-2 Crystal Palace - 6 Things We Learned

1. Should Pardew Go?

The answer to that question is whether or not you think Palace are in terminal decline or that they will be able to turn a corner. Right now, it seems that the side are indeed in terminal decline and it seems that Pardew does not have the answers to fix it. Palace have good players all over the pitch and there's no way they should be going on ten game runs without a victory, and they should never be flirting with relegation. Pardew has to take responsibility for this. Yes, injuries have played their part, but he sold Glenn Murray when he didn't have to and failed to bolster the squad at the start of January when he had a chance. I'm quite happy to be embarrassed here and for Palace to beat Sunderland and go on a run until the end of the season but I just don't see it. I don't want Pardew to be sacked because that will mean he has failed - I absolutely want him to stay, but not under any and all circumstances. If we lose to Sunderland, what more will it take for the owners to take action? Relegation is simply not an option.
