Michael Jordan, the greatest Nba player of all time. 6 Nba title wins and multiple Mvp wins. He led the bulls dynasty as an unstoppable team that no one can defeat in the 1990's. however, he wasn't pick first when he first got drafted in. Hakeem Olajuwon was the first pick. Olajuwon is not a flop but he is also one of the greatest centres in the Nba history. His "Dream Shake" is maybe the best footwork ever done by a big man. Both of them are legendary players but this is the biggest question from the fans.Would Michael Jordan achieve the same greatness if he went in the First Overall. Will Hakeem Olajuwon replace Michael Jordan and become the greatest player of all time. Fans want to know the answer but no one has the answer. in my opinion though,
Would It Have Affected Their Legacy?
Michael jordan would never be the greatest player ever in the history of Nba if he went to Houston Rockets. First, there will never be Clyde Drexler. Both of Jordan and drexler plays the same position. As Nba fans will know, Olajuwon only won his two titles when the team traded Drexler to the team. The duo's capitalize on Jordan retiring from Nba and win back 2 back championships. However, Jordan might have the chance to win the title even earlier. Jordan was already a star in the late 1980's and the only reason he didn't win the title earlier was because he didn't have any help and he was always blocked by the bad boys. In Rockets, he would have have help from Ralph Sampson who is the first overall pick a year before. They would be in the final like Olajuwon and Sampson did in 1986. The result though might be different. For Olajuwon, his career would have been better. He would have the same start like Jordan did in the Bulls. However, he would have help when the Bulls drafted Scottie Pippen. This would be a major difference as we get to see is Pippen good enough to be the man himself with Olajuwon or just a helper like he did to Jordan. Their career would have went different paths but for now, it's all a "what if".
