England has all the ingredients needed to put on one of the most exciting tournaments ever: an incredibly enthusiastic population, a series of unique, iconic stadiums, and a proud sense of tradition stretching back to the very roots of the game. The fact that England hasn't hosted a World Cup since 1966 is a baffling one given the influential nature of the Premier League on a global scale. Hopefully, if the upcoming tournaments are in need of a new host, one will be given to a nation which perhaps deserves it more than any other.
