World Matchplay Of Darts 2014: 10 Most Likely Potential Winners

10. Stephen Bunting

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2QqON3SGoI Stephen 'The Bullet' Bunting has made a massive impact on the world of darts in recent years, culminating in his Lakeside World Championship victory in the New Year. He quickly made the transition from the BDO to the PDC, with the aim of becoming one of the top players in the world. He has struggled a bit since his move, with a ranking of just 45, but the World Matchplay is the perfect chance to put the record straight and announce himself as a big time player. The legs rather than sets format should favour Bunting and his rapid game style, however few think he will have what it takes to go all the way. He faces Peter Wright in the first round and will struggle to topple the in-form Scotsman. However, if he gets through this contest then he will grow in confidence and become a big threat to the world's top players.
