20 Things You Somehow Missed In Andor
8. Andor Was Less Immune To Leaks Compared To Other Star Wars Productions
The Sequel Trilogy was largely filmed in secrecy and rarely was there ever a leak that spoiled important plot details, at least not by media or other inquisitive individuals. The same can be said for the likes of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, all of which heavily relied on the Volume and large indoor sets.
Andor, however, was not quite as leakproof as its fellow franchise entries. Due to it being filmed in real locations, set photo leaks were relatively more common. This is despite the fact that the movies employed similar filming methods and experienced far fewer leaks than the 2022 spin-off.
The most prominent leak was from the series' seventh episode, where many onlookers spoiled the return of the Shoretroopers from Rogue One and the apparent return of K-2SO (which was later revealed to be an anonymous KX droid).
