Speaking of recognisable elements of the galaxy far, far away hiding in plain sight during The Mandalorian, Din Djarin's rifle of choice just so happens to be inspired by one of the most infamous creations in Star Wars history.

In what would act as the legendary Boba Fett's debut appearance in this universe way back in 1978, that animated, beskar-wearing eventual icon also came equipped with a pretty sweet rifle during the Star Wars Holiday Special.

And when comparing both that Amban phase-pulse blaster with Mando's own Amban sniper rifle, the design similarities are there for all to see once you take a second to get over the sight of disintegrated Jawas and take a closer look at the multi-purpose weapon.
