Star Trek: 11-ish Times Voyager Lost A Shuttle

6. Type 6, Name Unknown — Gravity

Grumpy teenage Tuvok and a gravity (mavity?) well. Ah, yes, but which one caused a shuttle crash? As Tom Paris noted, they probably should have brought the Delta Flyer, because, once down in the hellish pocket of subspace where time moved relatively very fast, this Type 6 shuttle wasn't going back up.

It seems extremely unlikely that Voyager was able to recover any part of the already severely damaged shuttle before the sinkhole was closed and the entire anomaly collapsed in on itself, crushing everything inside. Voyager was only able to send one transporter beam through its relay probe, and Tom, Tuvok, The Doctor, and friend Noss had to be within a two-metre radius of their distress beacon or be left behind. Still, could have grabbed a few of those 'spiders' for Neelix to sauté!
