It's almost appropriate that the other Mad Hatter's famous "In this style" quotation appears on the title card for 'Mad As A Hatter' because, in this style, Batman: The Animated Series thrived. This children's storybook approach added a complementary Alice In Wonderland vibe that was worthy of the episode's fairytale-like villain.
