Who knew BET made their own original drama shows? It's not for a lack of trying but outside of their Reality TV content, their produced dramas haven't made much impact. The highest profile one is Tales, an ambitious show produced by Irv Gotti - which has received bad to mixed reviews.
Season 2 is dropping for this anthology based program, that has each episode taking inspiration from a famous rap lyric and spinning it into a whole story. It's a novel idea but one that failed the first time around.
