Famed writer and animator LeShaun Thomas (e.g. The Boondocks, Black Dynamite) is bringing back his long lost comic book concept as a full-blown Western anime show for Netflix.
The shows look like pure uncut wackiness; sassy humour, nutty action bolstered by an imaginative and colourful style. It also looks like a really dynamic mix of Eastern and Western flavours, with it lovingly embracing its inspiration while blending it with Thomas trademark humour.
From what the promos have displayed, Netflix might have found their anime winner here...
