Friends Cast: Where Are They Now?
12. Giovanni Ribisi (Frank)
Giovanni Ribisi actually played two roles in Friends: Frank Buffay Jnr and Condom Guy, a random passerby who accidentally tips Phoebe a condom while she’s busking. Debate rages between Friends fans who have way too much time on their hands as so whether Frank and Condom Boy are one and the same.
Regardless, Ribisi played one of the most eccentric characters in the show, a trend which has continued in Ribisi’s later career. He’s become one of Hollywood’s most notable character actors, known for his limitless performances and unflinching intensity.
This was most notably shown in Avatar, until recently the highest grossing movie of all time when Avengers: Endgame overtook it. As well as this, Ribisi featured in The Rum Diary, Gangster Squad, Selma, Public Enemies, and bizarrely Call Of Duty, as well as Seth MacFarlane movies A Million Ways To Die In The West, Ted and Ted 2.
As well as his Hollywood career, Ribisi starred in Amazon original Sneaky Pete, although nothing on the small screen has surpassed his appearance in Friends. Still, it seems Ribisi will be acting in eccentric roles for a long time to come.
