First airing in 2016 the show Lucifer has managed to pick up an incredibly active and loyal fanbase, so much so that when the series was cancelled by Fox the backlash ensured it got a second home on Netflix. But while the titular Lucifer might be the main focus, the King of Hell wouldn't have gotten this far on his own.
The show's varied and layered characters have become a key part of the shows success and one of the more notable is Lucifer's own brother, Amenadiel.
Entering the show as an antagonist in the first season, who would have thought this angel would not only be around five seasons later, but be one of the most charming and complex characters on the show.
Played by D.B. Woodside, this character has certainly had a hard time throughout the show, often feeling torn between wanting to be a good son and wanting to be there for his brother. Woodside manages to always keep you routing for Amenadiel despite the characters flaws.
