The rules of physics and social conventions brought the characters of the The Big Bang Theory show closer together. Penny grew into an indispensable part of the nerd gang, becoming Leonard’s wife and Sheldon’s part time mother. Amy acquired a BFF and was included in an exceptional friendship circle. And then there was Raj, who was so close to getting his big romantic movie moment with a woman who didn't care about big romantic movie moments.
It's true that Anu was a desirable bride and the perfect woman to have kids with. However, she had ambitions that took her 4,500 miles away from our hero, the hopeless romantic Rajesh. Even though Raj’s faith remained undiscovered, we do believe that there was a girl somewhere out there that loved cooking shows, sweater vests and other dumb things Raj loved. And she most definitely knew what Notting Hill was about.
