The Mandalorian 2.3 Review - 7 Ups And 1 Down From Chapter 11
1. Confirmation That We're Going To Meet Ahsoka
Again, not a major surprise given previous casting rumours, but hoooooo boy this is still really exciting.
After helping Bo-Katan seize the supplies onboard the Imperial ship, she reveals the location of Ahsoka Tano to Din, who is of course looking for Jedi to help The Child. Again, those familiar with The Clone Wars and Rebels will know that Katan and Ahsoka go way back, with Tano having helped the Mandalore resistance unseat Maul's super commandos in the dying days of the Clone Wars, so it makes sense that she would point Tano out to Din as the Jedi she's familiar with.
It remains to be seen just how Season 2 of The Mandalorian will utilise Ahsoka, but it is still properly exciting.
Star Wars Rebels of course ends with Tano and Sabine Wren beginning their search for Ezra Bridger following the conclusion of Return of the Jedi. Does that mean Sabine could make an appearance too? It has been rumoured, but besides that it's hard to see how they'll introduce Ahsoka without broaching the subject - a welcome prospect for those enticed by rumours of a sequel series to Star Wars Rebels.
