9. Munchie
'Munchie' first appeared in the 1998 episode 'D'oh-in' in the Wind' alongside friend and business partner Seth, the pair running 'Groovy Grove Juice Corporation' together. He was an old friend of Homer's mother, Mona, and is depicted as a hippy. However, when Homer attempts to get Munchie and Seth to relive their old lifestyles, the pair are reticent to return to their 'grooving days'. Homer eventually persuades them to join him on a 'freak out' scaring 'squares' but it all goes wrong when Homer's Frisbee gets lodged in the gears of the juice corporation's conveyor belt, ruining a batch and almost putting Seth and Munchie out of business. Seth and Munchie are later seen at Mona's funeral, Munchie with noticeably greyer hair.
