The Simpsons is truly a giant in the world of TV. The show has produced over 600 episodes, through 30 plus seasons since 1989 in spite of a dip in quality, and even those few who have never watched the show would still be able to pick Homer J. Simpson out of a line up.
What helps make Matt Groening's creation so special, at least in the early years, is its relatability. Whether it is Homer's far from perfect parenting skills, Marge's motherly ability to keep the house from falling apart, the struggle of living in a crowded house with irritating siblings, or something else entirely, everyone can relate to at least one aspect of the Simpsons.
This is no different at Christmas. While the Springfield family's holidays may be more bizarre than the average person's, the basis is still the same. Though it may be the most wonderful time of the year, it is also one of the most stressful, and doesn't always go exactly to plan.
The Simpsons have had more than enough holiday drama spread over 19 Christmas episodes, some of which are a lot more entertaining than others.
