It seems apt to follow Israel Adesanya's inclusion on this list with the star who inspired 'The Last Stylebender' to become a fighter in the first place, Anderson Silva.

Completely dominating the Middleweight division for six years straight (from 2006-2012) Silva may not have been the greatest talker on the planet but when he took to the Octagon you knew you were in for a show.

He mixed the arts of Muay Thai, capoeira, taekwondo and boxing to produce a striking style which has never been replicated to this day. Often dropping his hands completely and inviting his opponents onto him, Silva would pick his rivals apart with lightening fast punches and a wide range of kicks which were often as unpredictable as they were unstoppable.

It's not an overstatement to label Silva as one of the most exciting competitors the UFC has ever seen and his iconic nonchalant stance mixed with an ability to render his opponents limp with one devastating swing of his arm or leg made 'The Spider' a truly compelling star to behold in his peak.

He may have lost some of that aura in recent memory due to being outclassed against the likes of the aforementioned Adesanya, but that doesn't take anything away from the legacy of the Middleweight's charismatic former king.
