10 'Before They Were Famous' WWE Cameos You Won't Believe

The Young Bucks as DX. Seriously...

Over nine years before he became WCW World Champion for the first time and a full 11 before he joined WWE, Diamond Dallas Page drove a pink cadillac for Jimmy Hart, The Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine at WrestleMania VI. He, just like everyone else, had to start somewhere.

DDP isn't the only top star who made a cameo appearance on WWE TV before making a name for himself. Others, including CM Punk, Braun Strowman, Becky Lynch, Randy Orton, Rob Van Dam and The Hardy Boyz also had to work as extras before getting their own big breaks.

In the case of Matt and Jeff, it was about holding doors open for others before they themselves were allowed to go through.

There's no shame in this, but it is a tad strange to watch programming back on the WWE Network, see familiar faces pop up and hear announcers either dismiss them as losers or pretend they have different jobs. This is proof, if nothing else, that making cameo appearances in WWE does not count against your chances of future employment.

Just ask Johnny Gargano. Maybe he'll give you a glance at the Liechtenstein Heavyweight Championship while you're at it...
