The UFC has given us some of the most outlandish characters the world of professional sports has ever seen. As a consequence, there are quite a few fighters (past and present) whose careers would make a fascinating film.

Sure, there have been several documentaries that have given us an in-depth look at the day-to-day lives of some of our favorite mixed martial artists. However, surprisingly, there hasn't been a major Hollywood production that focuses on the UFC or any of the superstars it's helped create over the years.

So, to get the ball rolling, we are going to give Hollywood casting agents a helping hand and select some actors and actresses who would be perfect to play our favorite UFC fighters.

This list will feature A-listers, well known supporting actors, and a few high profile television stars as well. There are enough options provided to make several UFC-based films about either individual fighters or the promotion as a whole.

With that in mind, here are ten actors who would be ideal candidates to portray some of the biggest names to ever set foot inside a UFC Octagon.

10. Stipe Miocic/Grey Damon

Reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic is perhaps the best big man the sport of mixed martial arts has ever seen. The Cleveland native has beaten the best of the best including the likes of Daniel Cormier, Junior Dos Santos, and Francis Ngannou.

Outside the cage, the former NCAA Division I wrestler has worked as a part-time firefighter for years and plans to make that his full-time career once his fighting days are over.

There is one actor in particular who is both fairly large (6'2") and has plenty of experience playing a firefighter: Grey Damon. Damon currently plays firefighter Lieutenant Jack Gibson on the ABC series, Station 19. He also has experience playing an athlete from his days as Hastings Ruckle from the Friday Night Lights television series.

Use a bit of Hollywood magic to rough up his face and Grey Damon would make an excellent Stipe Miocic.
