Now that he's gone off to become a movie star, John Cena could simply play himself, but what fun would that be? So, let's go with another actor instead.

Back in his Magic Mike days, Channing Tatum looked an awful lot like the 16-time world champion and still somewhat resembles the 'Doctor of Thuganomics.' At 6'1," Tatum is actually an inch taller than Cena, so there wouldn't be any significant size difference, assuming the actor was willing to put on a few pounds.

Moreover, Tatum has plenty of experience as an action star, as we've seen in films like G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra and White House Down. Over the course of his career, Tatum has shown the ability to be both a tough guy and a comedian, which would be essential when portraying a character like Cena.

Give him a pair of jorts, an inspirational t-shirt, a couple of wrist bands, and Channing Tatum would make an excellent John Cena.
