9. Guided Arrow

Much like his maiden outing between the ropes alongside Neville against Stardust and King Barrett (a contest built off of the burgeoning real-life friendship struck up between Cody and the 'Arrow' star), Stephen Amell fell short but flew high as he returned to the squared circle against the ultra-reliable Christopher Daniels.

The match wasn't without some sloppiness, but Amell admirably worked up to the immense level in front of him. Gambling goodness-knows-what in acting wages against the opportunity to pop the Chicago capacity, Amell threw caution to the wind and himself through tables until he ate a pair of Best Moonsaults Ever en route to a game defeat.

The match relied on the shock factor bolstering Amell's attributes - any later on this show would have been too late for the fans to give a toss about his better-than-average efforts.

A stalwart of the independent scene in between decent runs in TNA and Japan, the circuit survived because of guys like Daniels before it thrived under the stewardship of others. Nods to Curry Man and his original 'Fallen Angl' persona were cute touches on what must have been an incredibly rewarding night for the 25-year veteran.
