10 Angles For The Undertaker's Return At WWE Battleground

2. Revenge On Brock Lesnar

The idea of an Undertaker Brock Lesnar match is based on the notion that fans will pay to see Taker seek revenge for the streak being conquered. It is a logical creative idea in that sense, although both being over babyfaces makes it a little tricky. The angle would have to be Undertaker coming in and costing Lesnar the title on Sunday. That then sets up the narrative on Lesnar's side, as he wants revenge against Taker for his actions. Taker would later explain his motives as "He took away the thing that meant the most to me, so I took away the thing that meant the most to him." It's awkward booking, but if you remember back to 2010, Shawn Michaels did a similar thing with costing Taker the title to set up a match. Both were still babyfaces afterwards and had a hell of a match at WrestleMania that year. What would happen on Sunday, Lesnar would have Rollins up for an F5. Taker's music would then hit and he'd speed to the ring (to make it even more shocking) diving in and nailing Lesnar with hard punches. He's then hit a thunderous chokeslam, throwing one in on Rollins as well for good measure.
